Hi guys.
I need help with a f*ckin' R4i Gold that a friend give me
This is my R4i Gold, Flashcard is Grey and Sticker is Gold, and my problem is that i put R4i in my DS (DS normal, no lite) and freeze in "Loading..." screen (Black Screen, white letters)
I don't have the box, but my friend tell me that the box say r4i-pro.com, and i try with this firmware. but nothing happen.
I try with R4ids.com, r4i-sdhc.com, r4igold.com, r4i-gold.com, r4i-deluxe.com, r4i-sdhc.com.au, etc, etc and nothing.
I try here http://linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ but nothing.
I see a flash card very similar, cardflash is black and sticker gold and inner board is red, but the chipset is different, my R4i gold's inner board is yellow and have a chipset really small.
I use a Micro SD Kingston 2 GB in FAT, and try in FAT32 but nothing happen.
Please Help and sorry if my english is poor =n=

is there a url(web site) on the card its self. if there is use that web site. now using a older ds you probably need to find a early kernel. that's one of the early kernels. how are you formatting the sd card.? are you letting windows do it or are you using a sd formatting tool you can find the tool on this web site just search sd formatting too

i'm formating SD card with Windows, in FAT, and 32k asing, i try too in FAT32, but nothing happen.

if its freezing in the loading screen the r4 card should be working . the issue is with the software really not compatible with the fat ds. the older kernel is needed to make it work im surpised that there is no url on the card if you could find the box it should be on there. remember that there are many r4 card that look the same

had this exact same issue with my R4i gold. Went to the following web address www.r4ids.cn and downloaded the newest version and now it is working fine.
