whats the url on the r4 card? have you tried to disable the cheats and wifi play in the settings? what kind of sd card are you using?

although you tell me that your sd card is usn 2,0 i want to know if a san disk kingston lexmax, i want to know if it has a circle with a number inside the circle. if not then you need a new sd card. i too made the mistake of buying a generic sd card and now ive got to get another one. try it with another micro sd card that should solve it. If not can you run the multimedia the runs a check disk atomically and would be very help ful to see a good pic of it.

try to re download the kernel again grab a few of them like the English Italian and Spanish ones. follow the instructions on the page for install. if that does not work then contact the vendor and get your money back and go buy a different r4 card preferably from cardzoo or r4idsn.com. Some times the download you get is not the whole thing just try to download it again unzip it then install files to the root of the sd card, that means there is no folder on the sd card when you copy them over.

what is the url web site thats on the r4 card or on the box. What kind of micro sd card are you using? and what kind of ds are you using?

did you remember to format the sd card then place the kernel onto it. does your sd card have a circle with a number inside it? if it does not then its an older sd card and youll have to get another. not sayin that its a bad card just that the r4 wants to have the newer sd cards.

your card sounds like it has shorted out. the ds should see the card even if there is no kernel. contact the vendor and they should replace it. i had a card from r4ids.com do this same thing the 3rd time i played with it but the vendor i got it from is not there anymore. sorry to be the one to break this news for you. if you have to buy a new one i suggest www.r4ishopper.com there card are real and i dont believe that there are going anywhere anytime soon

I bought an R4i gold. It doesn't work.. I mean some games work, some games partly work, some games don't work at all. And it doesn't save my progress.
I don't have an SD card. And I really don't know what to do.

So, I downloaded the firmware here http://www.r4-pro.com/core_download_en.html
I formatted my SD card, I added the file I downloaded and some games and they worked
That's all! I just needed an the latest version of the 'kernel'

my R4i SDHC v1.4 card has stopped working. I've downloaded the latest update from the website on the box www.r4i-sdhc.com, but my dsi doesn't recognise the game card. It says that there is no game card in the game card slot.
Can anyone help?
