I have an R4 Revolution for DS card that works perfectly on one of my children's DS machines. However, when inserted into an older DS (2006), the machine says: no card inserted. Is this down to the age of the machine, or is there another solution?
FYI Both machines work perfectly with others cards... just not this one.

Hi Ginger,
Yes this is strange - I am guessing that it must be down to the age of the DS - sometimes the actual pins with in the cartridge slot on the DS get bent back with age and they don;t make a good contact with the R4 cards. I am guessing this is the case here - you can try to open the R4 card (carefully) and pushing a piece of paper behind the contacts so that they push out further - worth a try...

try cleaning the contacts with a q tip and some rubbing alcohol careful when opening anything and good luck keep us posted
