Always make sure you have the latest version of the Kernel software for your card. 9 out of 10 times this fixes issues people have had with Loading messages and general card not working properly failures.

just tried downloading the latest software and it still give me the same error message!do you have any other suggestions, or have i wasted my money on the cards? thanks

Can you look on the front of your R4 Ultra Card and post on here what the URL is that should be written on there?

the only details on the front of my card are as follows r4i revolution for ds (ndsi/ndsl/nds) www.r4ultra.com. hope this helps. thanks

Reading your other posts I see that you are using this on a DSi with 1.4 firmware loaded on it - is this the case? If so then I would assume that the R4 Ultra card you are trying to use is not compatible with the 1.4 firmware of the DSi.
Nintendo released an updated to the operating system of the DSi which is called 1.4 firmware. This was explicitly done by Nintendo to stop the R4 like DS cards from working.
The manufacturers have found a way around this and have since released 1.4 compatible R4 cards. Most of these cards are marked by a yellow sticker and the letters 1.4 clearly written on it. If yours does not have this then you can assume that it is not compatible and the only option you have is to buy a new R4 card 
There is no kernel software you can download that will solve your problem.

Help! I have an R4i SDHC v1.4 (red box) upgrade revolution for DS (NDSi/NDSL/NDS) card ( www.r4i-sdhc.com) for the dsi, purchased dec 2009 and have downloaded the software 3 times now! Still getting the 'loading... system date error please check NDS system date' on the top screen and the bottom is blank. I've even got winrar as advised too but still not working. Where am i going wrong?  I also have an R4 SDHC upgrade revolution for ds (ndsl/nds) card - www.r4i-sdhc.com for the ds. I haven't even tried this one yet! Please please help, is it the wrong software i'm downloading??

Ok, re my above post, the R4i now works in the ds but not the dsi?! Saying that, i haven't tried to put any games on yet tho...

Hi Kez,
Have you checked your DSi system date & time - strangely this needs to be accurate for the R4i card to work properly.

hello everybodyI bought 2 R4i Gold Upgrade Revolution (V 1.4), I have these cards with 12mths and have decided to get them sorted now! I cant seem to find the correct version of software for these cards. This is my first R4I card as I had been using acekarrd and had no problem after a few teething problems.
