I bought the above card the other day.  I have formatted it following your link and then downloaded the software of the website stated on the card www.r4i-sdhc.com.

I have a Micro SD HC 8gb.

I have copied the four folders across as mentioned but everytime I put the card into te dsi it keeps stated there is no card inserted in the DS Game Car Slot.

Please help.  My son is so disappointed.  I have reformatted the card a couple of times to ensure I have got the correct details on there and done it several times but again it keeps coming up with the same.

Any Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Lin

Hi Lin,

This is fairly uncommon but sometimes during the manufacturing process the DS card itself can be a little thinner and when inserted into your DSi it does not make a good connection with the metal contacts.

Things to try are:

1) Blow hard into the DSi card slot to blow out any dust if there is any
2) After inserting the R4i into your DSi, cut a small piece of paper/cardboard and slide it into the gap between the card and your DSi to make it a better fit. Make sure the paper or cardboard is on the opposite side to where the contacts are. Not ideal to say the least but this may help you...

Let us know how you get on.

Many Thanks
