I
recently bought an R4i gold card and it is on version 1.30. I
previously had an M3 DS Simply, which I used in conjunction with a
standard DS, but when I bought a DSi XL I bought the R4i for it. I
transferred all my old roms and saves over for the games (seeing as
though they're all in the same "Roms" folder) and some roms worked fine
and I could use my old savegames. However, for some reason it doesn't
recognise my save files for any of the Pokémon games (such as
HeartGold, Platinum) and creates a new save file, even though I already
have one in the folder. Is there something that I have to do, such as
converting the old saves so that the card will recognise them?
Also,
a lot of the time it freezes when I'm loading any rom, and it gets
stuck on a white screen after the "Loading" message. However, I can
play one of the roms, "N+", and after loading it and resetting the
console, other games seem to work fine. This is really strange and I'm
wondering if anyone knows why that happens.
I'd appreciate any help, thanks in advance.
*EDIT* - By the way I'm using a 2GB Sandisk microSD card
Also,
another problem that I have (sorry for the ridiculous amount of them)
is that whenever I set cheats to enabled in the setup menu, none of the
games will work and the only thing I can do is to disable the option.
To be honest I'm really disappointed with the card so far, as I'm
experiencing all these difficulties.

i just bought newr4i gold sdhc..n i try to convert from the raw format (1st option) to no$gba (last option)

what is the url on the r4i card? so far i have had a lot of problem with my card too. but i did not spend that much on it and i feel that so far its paid me back in the short time that ive had it. im still tring to figure out how to play a movie and ebooks on it.

Hi there, i bought two r4 i gold cards a few weeks ago for my daughters dsi xl... Same thing has happened, some of the roms don't work in it (well actually most of them)! But the same 2 cards go into my sons ds lite and work fine. Can anyone help me? As i spent £80 on both these cards with preloaded games on them, and i'm getting nowhere.

whats the url on the r4 card. download the kernel from that site . try starting off with a lower ver of the kernel and work you way up from there. i have a conflicting problems with some roms on the card like if i put some on there other roms that have worked wont.
