We have been trying to find out more details with regards to the much publicised DSi firmware 1.5.

In the past, when Nintendo released their firmware update 1.4 this resulted in all of the DS cards (R4 cards, DSTT etc) obsolete.  They simply could not function on DSi's (Including the new DSi XL).  Not even a kernel update form the DS card would rectify the issue. The only way forward was to wait until the R4 manufacturers updated their hardware and this meant that we all had to re-purchase new cards to use.

We have heard over the last few months that a Nintendo DSi firmware 1.5 is imminent, and in fact their are reports online of users having already been updated to this firmware.  However we have reason to believe that at time of writing this the DSi firmware 1.5 is a myth!  The reasons are:

1) We have had ZERO reports on this website with regards to any DSi 1.5 firmware update from any of our members
2) We'be contacted Memory Card Zoo and they have not had ANY customers call in with regards to issues with any new Firmware Update.
3) There are no confirmed reports on YouTube (Like there was when 1.4 was released)

If anybody HAS been updated to 1.5 could they post  a screenshot of their DS with the version showing?

Many Thanks
