Iv gota dsixlAnd ordered the R4i SDHC V1.4 Ivdownloaded the right software,And did a quick format of the card,Iv move the softwareto my memory card,I placed the card in the R4i andplaced it in my dsi xl and turned it on, I then clicked start,Which had the wordsStar Wars Lethal Alliance Ubisoft, Butthe bottom screenturned off and the top screen is just lit I have tried this a few time and the same thing keeps happening,The R4i card & software was from https://www.r4i.co.uk/r4.And I have followed all there instructions and video's, and still can not get it to work, Please Help. Thank you.

From past experience it would seem that the card may be faulty, you can try to download the kernel from the URL printed on the card (if you have not already). It sounds like you know what you are doing though, can you give the retailer a call? Let us know how you get on.

This is exactly the same problem that I am having..I have an R4i v 1.4 and my Dsi is version 1.4E.I think I have got the wrong card and have emailed the company to ask this...

A disc came with it which had the software on it which they told me to transfer onto the chip,would you have any idean which software I do need as this does not seem to be the right one.Many thanks for replying so quickly to me....

I don't know if it helps but it say V1.4 R4i sdhc then there is a star to the left with 'Upgradeable' inside it..

Also have just had a look at the disc and it is an R4I v2.02.Is this the right disc?

Hi again,I don't want to speak too soon but I have got it to work,I formatted the sd card with a programme that I found on here somewhere,then transferred the software from my disc that came with the R4i and fingers crossed it is now working.....hooray and thank you for having all this info to help us with the problems......

I have two R4i Gold cards that say sdhc and Revolution for DS (NDSI/NDSL/NDS). The url on the box is Http://www.r4-pro.com. The website seems to be dead and I can't find any Kernel that will work on this card. Does anyone know where I can find this software?
