Hi, I have the above card for quite a while now and it worked fine. Sometimes though when you switched it on the screen would be blank but after a few tries it usually worked. Now it wont work at all for me, everytime I switch on the ds there is just the white screen.
I have spent a long time trying different kernels but none of them seem to work and I have also tried with 4gb and 2gb memory cards.
Could somebody please explain the exact files I should put on the card please? I have followed your download link for the R4 SDHC (website with dash which I have) but which one should I choose on that site? I already tried the v1.09b english and chose download address 'italy' but this didnt work.
Would appreciate any help please.

Hi,
To get your R4 card to work you must go and download the 1.17b software from www.r4i-sdhc.com. This is for r4i cards that are compatible with the 1.4 Nintendo DSi kernel, and also, importantly the standard R4 SDHC cards (This is the one you have).
Download that kernel and unzip it. Then copy all extracted files to your Micro SD card (Format it first) This should work.

Hi TechTeamI have been using this card for a number of months now but recently it is not working when I select the card from the DSI menu i now get the message saying An Error Has Occured I have tried to wipe the card re load the most recent software but still the same message any ideas, the only thing I have recently updated was the DSI to get the facebook application on the camera menu

Hi,
Is the DSi software version now 1.4?
If so you need to buy a new R4 card because only R4 & R4i cards compatible with version 1.4 will work in the DSi running version 1.4. Unfortunately not even a software update for your old R4i card will get around this issue. :S
If you want me to recommend a suitable R4i card let me know.

No unfortunately the card was bought b4 nintendo brought out their updateIs there not a hack available for older cards? Can I try the 1.4 software update on the older card if not your recomendations would be appreciated thanks

Hiya, thanks a million for your help. Unfortunately I tried every thing that you told me to and it still doesnt work...tried on 2gb and 4gb card and formatted them both beforehand. The screen is still coming up blank when I switch it on.
Im beginning to think that the card could be damaged maybe? Could you please recommend the best one to buy for the standard ds lite to preferably hold the 4gb card?

Hi Again,
No worries if you want one just for the DS Lite then this is the best one to get - this will work with your 4GB Micro SD card no worries. The company we recommend provides you with a link to download the right software you need too so there is no hassle with that respect.
R4 for DS Lite (SDHC)
Just noticed that these are only £12.15 - unbelievable how cheap thee have become to be honest...

thanks for your recomendation received new card tody and works a treat quick delivery as wellmust remember to check the internet before doing any furter updates
