I recently bought my wife a DSi for her birthday. A friend gave her a R4i v1.4 card along with a 4gb micro sd card which contained around 70 games.
Most of the games work fine although a couple show loading and then the loading screen sticks and the game doesnt load.
Anyway i thought i would delete some of the non working games to make space for new ones. I inserted the micro sd card into the card reader slot on my printer. It stated that the card had an error and gave me an option to format the card??!?!?! Is there a problem with the card/reader/printer????? Or am i completely useless and should i have downloaded software onto my pc to view the files??
Hope someone can help as this is my first time on this forum and she is enjoying the games but would love some new ones added.

Hi,
Sometimes windows will report that there is an issue with the micro sd memory card and as you state you get the option of letting windows try to correct the problem. Just choose cancel and everything should work fine. We see this quite a lot in our offices.
If the 4GB Card you are using is a Kingston Card then this will be the reason for the perceived hanging when you load the files. They should all load eventually it just takes for ever. Its not ideal and we have replicated this with lots of brands of R4 & R4i cards.
The only solution at present is to replace the micro sd card with a new card. If you choose Sandisk you won't go far wrong.
