hi, my daughter has a version 3.1u dsi and her R4i super card has stopped working, a message is displayed saying An error has occurred. Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off. Please see the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for help troubleshooting. please can you help.

Do you mean 1.3u for the DSi firmware?
We have seen other posts with people experiencing issues with 1.3 firmware. The only outcome we have found is to purchase a new DS card that is compatible with the 1.4 firmware. (Check our where to buy page for trusted retailers that we have tested)
It seems that although your DSi is not updated fully to 1.4 firmware something must have made a slight change that is now blocking the R4i card. We think that certain game cards may be updating the DSi in a small way that is causing this.
The R4i cards are now compatible with the 1.4 DSi firmware and they are quite cheap these days so to save hassle it may just be worth the upgrade.

hi ive just recieved my r4i 1.4 card and updatd the dsi, the micro sd card from the other card will not work in it, so will i have to format it and put the correct software on and is there a way to save all the games i have on it?
