Hi, I've recently downloaded the latest software for my r4i to use with a dsi, followed the instructions on the website but when I attempt to select the card the top screen displays menu?, can anyone help?

I have the exact same thing. The upper screen shows a white rectangle with "menu?" in it. When I uploaded the latest software from www.r41sdhc.com (the URL shown on the card), I get a nice upper screen saying "loading" with an error message written over it saying I need to upgrade my hardware. I use a R41 SDHC v1.4 card with a brand new DSi XL.
There are only two versions I could find for download: the older v1.09 resulting in the menu? error, and the newer V1.23b resulting in the "loading" error. I am now kind of stuck. Did anybody experience this as well and has a solution?

have you tried formatting the sd card using the sd formatting tool then do a reinstall
